L: look, mama letter!
M: (after some initial confusion) oh, yes, Lucas, that's an "M", for "mama"
L: Where dada letter go?
Dada promptly searched through the alpha-books for the "D". Luke smiled and said "dada" when we found it.
When we got home this evening he was pretty interested in his electronic alphabet toy; you plug in a letter to it and it sings a little song about it. ("'B' says 'buh'! Every letter makes a sound...."). We found the "D" and "M" and then talked about "L" and "J".
