Weapons and wands

This morning at daycare Luke's friend Morgan picked up a plastic spoon and announced to the new center director, "This is a gun!"  The director replied "We don't use weapons at Gretchen's House. Can you think of anything else that it could be?" Lucas quickly offered "It could be a wand!"  Morgan liked that, and he immediately waved the wand at the director.  "I am turning you into -- a GHOST!"

I had a hard time seeing the difference between the spoon-as-gun and spoon-as-wand, though  I guess the wand version skips over the girsly death and goes straight to the afterlife.
