"It's fine if he wants to use my chair!"

Mama put Josh down on Luke's orange chair during the day today while she was doing some tidying up in Luke's room.  Josh loved it.  He sat very happily and watched mom working for at least 15 minutes while she sorted laundry and went through Luke's clothes looking for stuff he had outgrown.

At dinner tonight mama told Lucas about how much Josh loved sitting in his chair, and she asked him if that was OK.

L: Yes, it's fine if he wants to use my chair.  If you don't want to lay him on my bed, you can put him on my chair.

Later in the evening, Mama brought Josh into Luke's room and laid him on the bed, but Luke insisted that Josh should sit in the orange chair.  Luke put a stuffed animal in each of the chair's side pockets and gave Joshie his new Piglet* to hold.  Then Luke said, "I want to sit next to him!"  So mom cleared a space and took the picture above.

* Piglet is a story in himself that probably needs to be blogged.  Sleepsack, dear sleep sack, she is no more; we will blog the details of how she got lost in the Providence airport shortly. Piglet is her replacement, though of course she is irreplaceable.
