Tonight we read a new book from the library about a little owl who doesn't want to stay up late. Why can't he go to bed early like all his raccoon and squirrel friends? Like Morris, the last page of the owl book ends with a pun: "And they owl lived happily ever after."
I asked Lucas if he got it. Yes, he said, grinning. "Owl-stake!"
