Naming

Grandma Sally bought Luke a baby doll a couple months ago.

I have a vague recollection that he may have named it before, but for several weeks we've just been calling it "baby". Anyhow, tonight at dinner baby was on the table and attention turned to it.

D: What's baby's name?
L: (thinks, then smiles) Gogo!
D: That's a nice name.

Jill was away at a meeting, and when I told her about this exchange she speculated that he came up with "gogo" because that's what his portable applesauces are called (do I get a commission for that link?); he is totally crazy about them. Anyhow now baby is officially named "Gogo".

And apparently Gogo is a boy. So says Lucas.
