It seems momentous the first time your toddler correctly corrects you on something moderately complicated. (Background: This week a group of older kids at daycare will make the transition to preschool down the street at "The Big House".)
J: Who is moving to the Big House this week?
D: Desmond, Frances. Is Wes?
J: Yeah. And Meg.
L: No, no Meg!
J: Yeah, I think Meg is, because Luke will practically be the oldest kid left. Just him, and Marann....
L: No! Meg is not going to Big House.
D: I think he's right. Meg is only a little older than Marann because she has the same birthday as me.
J: Oh yeah, you're right, Lucas. Meg isn't going to the Big House. I was thinking of Quincy!
