When Luke was little, he couldn't say "Jackson" so he called his kitty "Dot-dot". We were a little sad when he learned to say "Jackson" several months ago; it was one of those baby words you get nostalgic about.This afternoon after we got home from Chicago, Luke took a nap, and afterwards we sat at the table for a yogurt snack. Jackson zoomed by (he was frisky and happy to see us) and Luke turned his head. "Jackson!" he said. Then he paused and got a smile on his face. "Dot-dot!"

Before we left Ann Arbor, Lucas and I had a conversation about how he used to call Jackson "Dot Dot." But that was nearly a month ago!
He said it again tonight on the couch. He let out a little giggle when he said it.
