L: Change puppy's diaper!
D: Uh, ok, I guess you could change it. Here's a diaper [I handed him a napkin and he placed it carefully over puppy's private area]
L: Rash!
D: Puppy has a rash?
L: Yeah. Diaper cream.
D: Oh, good idea.
L: Poop in there! Clean it.
D: Uh, yeah, get him real clean.
Luckily the woman at the next table seemed to be engrossed in whatever she was doing on her laptop.
