David was quizzing Joshua at dinner the other night, to see if he knew the difference between “hot” and “hat”, two of his favorite words.
D: Joshua, what do you do if something is hot?
J: (pretends to touch something, then snatches his hand back) Ow! Ow ow ow! Ow!
D: Joshua, what do you do with a hat?
J: (pats his head and smiles)
D: Joshua, what do you do with a hot hat?
J: (pats his head while yelling and grinning) Ow! Ow! Ow OW!
