From Lucas, Jill and Sally's big Kentucky adventure.
At lunch on Friday, in the lovely Joseph-Beth Bookstore cafe. Lucas ordered a BLT, then asked the waiter "are the tomatoes good?" The young waiter, to his credit, barely skipped a beat and opined that it was indeed early in the season for tomatoes, but that he thought they were pretty good.
The next night Lucas ordered breakfast for dinner at Bob Evans, then asked the waitress for truffle salt for his scrambled eggs. You could tell that she had absolutely no idea what he was talking about.
