Lucas: How long will the car ride home take?
Mom: About 10 minutes.
L: How long would it take to drive to California?
M: Mm, probably 4 or 5 days.
L: Wow. That's far. I would use my rocket fire pack to go to California. I would put it on my back. It has a little pouch in the front, with a seatbelt, for Joshua so he can go with me. It also has a bottle holder (launches into an elaborate description of the bottle holder that defies retelling) so he can drink his bottle while we're flying.
M: What will you do once you're in California?
L: We'll go to Aunt Sonia's house. Joshie will stay with Aunt Sonia and they can watch a video. It will be a video for babies.
M: Will you watch the video, too?
L: No, I'll go down to the dock and look at the ocean. I'll watch the waves and the sunset and drink a beer.
