We made it to grandma's. He remembers everything. He toddled over to the stairs, pointed up to the top, and said "nap up there!" (His crib is upstairs.) "Monkeys!" (Grandma has three stuffed monkeys she keeps in his room.)
Then we gave him dinner at the dining room table. He looked up at the lamp hanging over the table and asked, "stars go?" Grandma used to have little plastic stars hanging from the lamp during the holidays. Months ago.
Finally he went upstairs to mommy and daddy's room and made a beeline for the baby bouncy chair. As he climbed in he commanded mama, "music on".
We haven't been here in over two months. I am blown away by his memory. Is this normal?
