Older and wiser

Last summer Luke was fearless at the splash park. He couldn't walk at the beginning of the summer, but he'd crawl right into the water jets.

This time he was a lot more cautious. After falling a couple of times he decided he wanted to stay clear of the wall of spray. (It was kind of cold too.). He liked the lake, though, and he fell down and ended up totally underwater a couple of times but didn't seem to mind

Maybe he was just tired (he woke up too early today), but it wouldn't be the worst thing if he developed a constructive respect for the power of water!
