Blog refocus

You'll notice that we've fallen off the blogging wagon this year.  We even missed his second birthday, which was Sunday.  (Short version: He was sick all week and barely got well in time for the party, but he ended up having a great time at the park, where we had a picnic with his friends Fan Fan and Cyrus and several select adults, notably Grandma J.)

To try to get things going again we're going to refocus the blog.  Instead of detailed reports of major events decorated with pictures, we're going to go minimalist.  Expect very short anecdotes about Luke's development and cute goings-on.  We're going to treat this blog like a diary of his development so that when people ask us "when did your son start doing X?" we have a record.  And hopefully it will help keep grandmas and other interested parties up-to-date on his daily life.

So: Don't expect polished prose, adorable photos, and Aristotelian plots with a beginning, middle, and end.  Instead we'll be jotting down three-line vignettes of something Luke did that day.  Comments always appreciated!
